Imagine shellharbour, community vision, 'naturally balanced, vibrant and connected community'.

How was our vision developed?
The community vision was developed in consultation with the community. In June 2021, over 150 community members participated in 'Imagine Shellharbour' workshops, with groups asked to co-create a vision statement for the City that provides a clear picture of what we want to become.
Each vision statement was then open for voting at workshops and online, the most highly voted vision was 'Naturally balanced, vibrant and connected community'.
The community's vision and aspirations for the future are reflected in our Community Strategic Plan (CSP).
Why was the Community Strategic Plan reviewed?
Every 4 years, following an ordinary election of Council, the Council must review the Community Strategic Plan (CSP). Reviewing our CSP is important to track our progress against the plan, identify where we can improve and plan our priorities for the future.
The last time the CSP was reviewed in 2022. As part of this review Council carried out extensive engagement with community members and stakeholders to develop our CSP.
