Business Studies: Stress and Crisis Management (Grade 11)
How often do we get stressed? People are stressed daily by every day events. Lets see how we can manage stress and crisis. This website will teach you what stress is and how to manage stress in your daily lives. It will also teach you what crisis is and how to manage it in our daily lives and businesses.
According to Dr Selye, stress is the nonspecific response of the body to any demand made upon it. In other words, the body reacts to stressors -the things that upset or excite us in the way regardless of whether they are positive or negative. A crisis is any event that is, or expected to lead to, an unstable and dangerous situation affecting an individual, group, community, or whole society. Crises are deemed to be negative changes in the security, economic, political, societal, or environmental affairs, especially when they occur abruptly, with little or no warning. More loosely, it is a term meaning 'a testing time' or an 'emergency event'.

In conclusion, managing anger and crisis can seem very hard and overwhelming at times. Stress and crisis are sometimes very hard to overcome and defeat, but there are ways and this website contains some of these methods that I find are the most effective.
I enjoyed making this website as it taught me many new things and I now know better ways to deal with stress and crisis and how to keep the stress and crisis levels to minimum in my life. I hope this website is helpful and will help you overcome the stress and crisis and that you will be in control from here on out. "So keep calm and don't stress."
