IGNOU June 2024 TEE: Assignment submission deadline extended till May 31

Ignou assignment's last date 2024 has been extended for odl and online programmes for the june tee session. the university will now accept assignments (both hard copy and soft copy) till may 31, 2024..

IGNOU TEE assignment submission 2024: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the assignment submission last date for ODL and online courses. Now, students can submit their assignments both in soft and hard copies by May 31.

Candidates enrolled in ODL, online programmes, GOAL, and EVBB for the June 2024 TEE can submit their projects, dissertations, practical files, and internship reports online at the official website – ignou.ac.in,  the open university said in an official notification.

However, students are suggested to submit the assignment before the last date to avoid last minute rush. Students must note that the IGNOU assignment submission last date 2024 is common for all programmes irrespective of admission year, mode or programme. 

Candidates are required to attach a copy of the fee receipt with the project report at the time of submission of hardcopy or by uploading it to the online portal. 

IGNOU June TEE 2024: Steps for assignment submission

Step 1: Go to the official website – ignou.ac.in

Step 2: Navigate to the assignment submission link available on the homepage

Step 3: Login using the necessary credentials in the designated field

Step 4: Upload the scanned assignment with the respective code

Step 5: Submit the assignment

Step 6: Students are advised to take a screenshot of the assignment submission receipt for further reference

“With the approval of the competent authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy) for term end examination, June 2024 for both ODL and online programmes, GOAL and EVBB has been extended up to May 31,” read the notification. 

The IGNOU has stared the fresh admission cycle for undergraduate, postgraduate, and other programmes for the July 24 academic year. The last date to apply for the various programmes at IGNOU is June 30. The university offers certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, postgraduate diplomas, and degrees. The University is offering more than 290 UG, PG, PG diploma, diploma, certificate and awareness programmes through ODL and online mode.

Instructions: 

• You are required to submit the assignments at your study center only.

• Before uploading the assignment students are advised to match the code of the google form with the Course code. Assignments uploaded in the wrong Course code will not be evaluated.

• Attempt the correct assignment question paper and attach it with the assignment.

• The assignment should be written in your own handwriting.

• If you attempt wrong/previous years assignment then your assignment will not be evaluated.

• The scanned copy (in PDF format) should be very clear in nature so that evaluators can read it easily and evaluate soft copies of your submitted assignments.

Advantages and disadvantages of Submission Of assignments via link

One of the main advantages of online assignment submission is that it is very easy for the students. They can submit their assignments anytime and anywhere. All they need is a computer or a mobile with an internet connection. Another advantage of this system is that it saves a lot of time. The students do not have to go to the IGNOU center to submit their assignments.

However, there are some disadvantages to the online submission process as well. The first disadvantage is that the students need to have a good internet connection. If the internet connection is not good, then the students will not be able to send their assignments. The second disadvantage is that the students need to be very careful while submitting their assignments. SUBMISSION OF ASSIGNMENTS FOR TEE JUNE, 2021

The assignments for TEE June, 2021 may be submitted in the following manner: (a)   Offline  - The assignments may be submitted offline (in hard copy) at the allotted study centre. Considering COVID pandemic situation and consequent curfew restrictions, please do not rush to submit. Wait for easing out of the situation and submit when the situation becomes relatively normal.  The study centre would facilitate the submission and evaluation of assignments at a later date (to be notified on RC website) as per COVID situation.

(b)   Online  :  The assignments may also be submitted online through the following link:

Earlier, the last date to submit the IGNOU June TEE 2024 assignment was April 30. “With the approval of the Competent Authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy) for Term End Examinations, June 2024 for both ODL and online programmes, GOAL and EVBB has further been further extended up to 31st May 2024,” said an official notice from IGNOU.

The application process for IGNOU June TEE 2024 exam is underway and candidates can apply for the exam till May 25. Candidates will have to pay a late fee of Rs 1,100 along with the application fee to register for the exam.

During the registration process, candidates should pay a fee of Rs 200 per course for both theory and practical, lab courses. Candidates admitted from January 2023 onwards will be subject to extra charges for practical and project evaluations. These additional fees are Rs 300 per course for up to 4 credits and Rs 500 per course for more than 4 credits.

As we all know that the university has closed the submission of the IGNOU Assignment for TEE June 2024 session. Therefore, we hope that the IGNOU RCs across the country have also begun to update the IGNOU Assignment Status Online for the most recent TEE session June 2024. As of now, the students will only get to know the status of “ Received to be Processed ” as the assignment marks and results for the session June 2024 will be declared together with IGNOU TEE Result June 2024. Therefore, candidates are advised to do check their IGNOU Assignment status regularly to get their assignment marks and results online as soon as possible.

IGNOU assignment status and marks for TEE December 2023 are now uploaded with the TEE Result December 2023 so keep checking the assignment status regularly to get your marks. If you already submitted the IGNOU Assignment for the session December 2023 to your study centre or through online or offline mode then you don’t have to wait for more time. The link to check your assignment status and marks is now updated to confirm whether it gets updated online or not. The assignment status and marks for June & December 2023 are generally updated with the TEE Result for June & December 2023 respectively.

IGNOU Assignment Status Update Process & Time

After submission of assignments through any of the available methods, the assignments goes for an evaluation to the evaluator of the study centre or regional centre. Once the Evaluator has successfully evaluated your assignment then they will either upload your marks directly on the IGNOU Official Site or it will be sent to IGNOU Delhi for updating online and thereafter it can be seen by each student to get their report. You can get your Marks, Status, Grades, and Results of your Assignments from here. Generally, IGNOU Assignment marks updating and uploading within 40 days after submission to the concerned study or regional centre.

How to Check IGNOU Assignment Status, Marks & Result 2024?

Many of the students are getting confused about checking their assignment status & marks online after the submission of their assignments to the study centre which they prepared with their hard work. IGNOU Assignment Status Meaning

When you check through the IGNOU assignment status, you may come up with three different statuses accordingly. Here are the meanings of these statuses that you notice on the window:

IGNOU Assignment Result and Marks 2024

The assignment status will show you when the evaluation is done. The university will start updating your marks on the grade card as soon as the evaluation of the assignments is done. So, you must check the grade card after the assignment status says you to do so.

Step – 1 – Visit the official IGNOU portal at www.ignou.ac.in and go to Student Zone.

Step – 2 –  Search for Results and click on it.

Step – 3 – From the left panel, click on Grade Card.

Step – 4 – Provide your program, course, and enrolment number to search and get your grade card.

As you see your grade card, you can check whether the university has updated your assignment marks on it or not. If the search results are leading to an error, this means the university has not yet started updating the grade cards of the students for this semester.

What If IGNOU Assignment Status Is Not Updated?

Sometimes the update process of IGNOU Assignment status gets delayed for an unknown reason like the evaluation of assignments is delayed in the concerned study centre or maybe the regional centre has not uploaded your assignment marks online. Candidates can wait till the declaration of the result to get updates on their assignment but if you are not able to find your assignment status or marks even after the release of the TEE Result then you need to connect with centre where you submitted your assignments.

In most cases, candidates have to visit their IGNOU Study Centre and complain to the coordinator of centre to get updates regarding their pending assignment marks and status. Please keep a copy of the grade card and don’t forget the receipt of the assignment that you received while submitting of assignments.
