What are the best seats in the Birmingham Resorts World Arena NEC (formerly Genting Arena)

The Birmingham Resorts World Arena NEC is a fantastic venue and there isn't really a bad seat. However knowing the detailed plan will help you buy a best value ticket. Seats in the floor blocks are normally numbered 1-15 or 1-20 right to left when facing the stage. Blocks A, B, C, D, E, F are all good as long as no one very tall stands or sits in front of you. Front rows in blocks A, B, C offer probably the best viewing experience for shorter people. Each of them has rows from A to YQ. Blocks B and E are central so they are sometimes more expensive. In the upper tier the seats are numbered from 1 in block 1 to 535 in block 17. Front rows in blocks 2, 3 and 15, 16 have very good seats and offer great viewing experience. However, the back rows in these blocks are very high up. The upper tier blocks are all raised – except for 8, 9, 10 which start off on the flat and then rise up. If you look at the ticket pricing, the more expensive the ticket, generally the better the seat. It's also worth asking the box office for specific advice as sometimes they put control decks or lighting engineers at the back of blocks B or E which means people behind have obstructed views.

The 16,000 capacity Resorts World Arena (Formally LG Arena) was the largest multi-purpose arena in the UK when opening in 1980 as "The NEC Arena" and is still a major popular venue for many large, international touring acts. Together, the NEC and the Genting Arena host over 3 million visitors each year.

Resorts World Arena consists of 18 tiered seating blocks in a horseshoe configuration. Seat blocks 1 and 18 being closest to the stage, whilst seat blocks 8, 9 and 10 being furthest away.

On the arena floor there is potential for another 6 blocks, named A - F, A, B and C being closest to the stage. During events with a standing audience, these blocks would be removed and those standing would do so on the arena floor.

Resorts World Arena Birmingham - Seated

Address Resorts World Arena National Exhibition Centre Birmingham B40 1NT Arriving by car The Arena is situated 8 miles east of Birmingham city centre; its central location ensures it is at the hub of the UK motorway network. Visitors from any direction can travel to The NEC site directly using the following motorways - M1, M5, M6, M6 Toll, M40 and M42. Sat Nav users can follow B40 1NT and once on site just look for the directional signage to your event. We're situated on the NEC site which has over 16,000 parking spaces. On arrival at the NEC, please follow electronic directional signage to your event, which will lead you to the nearest available car park. The NEC site runs a free convenient shuttle bus service from the East car parks to the Genting Arena on show days. They normally operate from half an hour before Arena doors open time to one hour after the show finishes. All shuttlebuses are wheelchair accessible. There is no shuttle bus service from the South and West car parks, so we would only advise visitors who are happy to walk to the venue to park here. The NEC is signposted on motorways and major roads and is marked on most good maps. If you are travelling by car, we recommend that you allow plenty of time for your journey. Arriving by train We're right next to Birmingham International rail station. If your train doesn’t go there, you can catch a connecting train at Birmingham New Street; trains are regular and take 10-15 mins. Buses can be caught at Birmingham Moor Street and Solihull stations. Arriving by bus There are buses from Birmingham Coach Station to Birmingham Airport. From the airport you can get to us in minutes. There are also buses from Birmingham coach station via Birmingham Moor Street Bus/Rail Interchange: the 900 local bus service runs every 20 minutes during the day, journey time approximately 30 mins. Arriving by taxi As one of our appointed suppliers, TOA are committed to providing a reliable, good value service. Book TOA taxis by phone on 0121 427 8888, book a taxi online or download the app, or pick one up outside the NEC main entrances when available. If you use a non TOA taxi to drop off and pick up at an event, please follow the signs that will direct you to the relevant area. Arriving by plane The Resorts World Arena is just minutes away from Birmingham Airport (BHX). From the airport, simply take the free and fast Air-Rail Link to Birmingham International railway station and then it’s just a short walk to our entrance. It leaves the airport from the upper level of Terminal 1 and operates daily 05:15am - 02:00am.

Justin Bieber pre-sale tickets go on sale today (November 16).

The much-anticipated Justice World Tour features shows in Birmingham together with Glasgow, Aberdeen, London, Manchester and Sheffield.

It will be the star’s first global outing since 2016/2017’s Purpose World Tour where he played to 2.7 million fans, with the finale seen by 65,000 fans at London’s British Summer Time Hyde Park festival. Follow our live blog here

The Birmingham gig is happening at Resorts World Arena on February 22, 2023 and, if you're planning to book tickets, you'll need to know the seating plan.

Seating at Resorts World Arena is a lot more adaptable now. Whilst there used to be pre-set standard formats for seating, each seating plan is now created bespoke for the show. This is the seating plan for the Justin Bieber tour:
